Could you imagine if somehow Mitch Trubisky starts for the Bears in 2021?

The national and local media would love for this to happen. Hell, even I would love for this to happen. The chances are very slim, but if Mitch Trubisky gets another shot to start in 2020 and proves he’s better than Nick Foles, could he see a return contract this offseason? The storyline would literally write itself.

Although this is a very unlikely scenario, we have to admit there is a remote possibility. We are seeing how Foles is not running this offense like the well-oiled machine many expected. His inability to run the offense will likely help Trubisky in the end. Even if Trubisky does not return in 2021, other teams’ front offices are seeing that Trubisky was not the problem here in Chicago. He will probably not last long on the open market in 2021 as teams give him another shot.

We all know Ryan Pace is a fan. Is there a chance Trubisky winds back up in Chicago? Honestly, the chance is probably less than five percent, but he must remain on this list until the season is over. Should he get another chance to play this season, who knows what will happen? Personally, I hope Trubisky lands in a system that he can thrive in and that is not here in Chicago.
