What about Mac Jones being under center for the Chicago Bears in 2021?

Some fringe Day 3 guys the Chicago Bears could consider are coming up next. These guys could fall anywhere outside of the first round, to be honest. As of now, I am thinking of a third-to-fifth round grade on Mac Jones. Just like Wilson and Trask, he could push his draft stock upwards though. At some point, he could be the guy for this Chicago Bears franchise though.

You may remember that Jones stepped in last season for Tua Tagovailoa after his horrific injury. Jones played 11 games and finished the season with 14 touchdowns and three interceptions. He completed 68.8 percent of his passes, but only averaged 137 yards-per-game. That is straight-up alarming.

Jones has turned things around though even more now that he’s been the starter since the beginning of the season. Over only five games, Jones has surpassed his 11 game yardage total from 2019. He has now thrown for 1,905 yards and a 381 yards-per-game average. Jones has some great wide receivers, which helps, but we must account for his surge this year. In those five games, Jones has thrown 12 touchdowns and two interceptions. He’d be a great addition.
