Michael Gallup, WR, Dallas Cowboys

The Bears wide receiver core does have Allen Robinson, but besides him, the core isn’t anything to brag about. Anthony Miller is always shaky and makes a few big mistakes a game and Darnell Mooney is young and a rookie. The Bears need a true number two wide receiver that can help open up this offense more.

As the Dallas Cowboys lost Dak Prescott for the season, they are probably looking to tank the season away and are expected to make cuts and trades before the deadline. Without Prescott, this team has no hope this year.

The one bright spot of this Cowboys’ team is their wide receiver core. They boast a core with three outstanding players with Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb. Before Prescott’s injury, these three were all having outstanding seasons.

Gallup is a great deep threat averaging 19.5 yards per catch and is also a great all-around wide receiver. Last year, Gallup caught 66 passes for 1,107 yards and six touchdowns while missing a few games due to injury. He could provide a great spark to this offense that needs it.

Gallup would cost probably a bit as he is young and a great wide receiver. The Bears may be able to secure him for a Day 2 pick and lock him up for the future as well.
