Dalvin Tomlinson, DL, New York Giants

Another player that could be on the Giants trade block is run-stopping defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson. Adding Tomlinson would make this defense what it once was back in 2018 that could easily stop the run. In the first six weeks of the season, Tomlinson recorded 13 run-stops for the second-most in the NFL.

Tomlinson is very young still as he was drafted in 2017 in the second round by the Giants. Tomlinson could be the perfect one-year rental for the Bears as their star nose tackle Eddie Goldman opted out for the season.

This year, the Bears defense has been gouged by the run giving up the most explosive runs in the NFL. This was evident on Monday Night Football against the Rams where they gave up 161 rushing yards.

Tomlinson may cost a bit because of his age and the level he is currently playing at. They may be able to get him for a fifth-round pick if the Giants really wanted to part ways with him, but it is likely the Bears would have to give up a third-round pick.
