The Chicago Bears need to add some free agents

As the Chicago Bears have now played half of their games, the season is starting to take a toll on the roster as a whole. Countless players are dealing with injuries, major and minor, affecting not only their starters but also the depth on the roster.

They have suffered major injuries to James Daniels and Tarik Cohen who are both out for the season. After that, the list goes on for minor injuries of players that will miss time or already have. Here is just their recent injury report:

The injuries have hit the offensive line probably the hardest. The Bears will only have two starters this week. Charles Leno and Germain Ifedi are both healthy, but even outside of the three starters that are out (Cody Whitehair, Daniels, and Bobby Massie), the Bears are also missing backup center Sam Mustipher and backup tackle Jason Spriggs.

Besides the offensive line, the wide receiver core has been banged up as well and had a suspension. Anthony Miller has not practiced much this week with a toe injury and Javon Wims is suspended two games for pursuing his boxing career. On top of that, the Bears released Ted Ginn. We should finally get to see Riley Ridley active this week.

Even at quarterback, Mitchell Trubisky suffered a shoulder injury last week against New Orleans. With the poor offensive line in Chicago, the Bears definitely need more depth to back up Foles since he could get killed due to his poor ability to move.
