The Chicago Bears could use help from center Justin Britt

After being selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, Justin Britt has spent each season in Seattle. Britt was a yearly starter for the Seahawks and played a variety of positions on the offensive line. That is exactly what makes Britt so valuable right now to this Bears’ offensive line.

With the Bears’ current injuries, Britt could be a player that can slide anywhere on the offensive line. As a rookie, Britt was a starter at right tackle for the Seahawks. The next season, he started at left guard before becoming a center for the next four seasons.

Halfway through 2019, Britt suffered an ACL injury that made him miss the remainder of the season. Before that injury, Britt was a leader and a staple of the Seahawks’ offensive line only missing two games in his first five seasons and becoming a Pro Bowl alternate in 2016. Britt is known for his great leadership and work ethic, which could be extremely helpful to a banged-up and young offensive line.
