Josh Rosen would be ideal in a Chicago Bears uniform

Here is my first choice for the Chicago Bears. Right now, Josh Rosen is sitting on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad. The team has not been protecting him and if I was Ryan Pace I would call his agent and sign Rosen off the Bucs practice squad.

Rosen is a former first-round pick (10th overall) from the 2018 NFL Draft. The Arizona Cardinals drafted him, however, the Cardinals traded him to the Miami Dolphins after just one season. Rosen only started three games for the Dolphins in 2019 and was released after the team was unable to successfully trade him this past offseason.

Why Rosen? Well, he has some serious upside as a former first-round pick and also has starting NFL experience. This sounds like a better situation in my opinion than Tyler Bray. I would feel more comfortable with Rosen stepping in under center than I would Bray, even with Bray’s so-called familiarity with Matt Nagy’s offense.
