Khalil Mack had a very uncharacteristic game by his standards

Dud #3: Khalil Mack

Khalil Mack is certainly one of the most dominant pass rushers in recent NFL history. Trading for him before the 2018 season was one of the best decisions the Chicago Bears ever made. However, everyone has a bad day at the office every once in a while in Mack is no different.

It’s not very often that Mack would find himself on a list like this but this past Sunday was not his best game. Against the Titans, Mack was only able to muster up three tackles, zero sacks, and zero QB pressures.

Again, this is not the norm for the seven-year veteran nor should it be an indictment of his play because Mack has been having a great year. You can even argue that the offense probably wouldn’t have rewarded him even if he had some stellar plays anyway, but his poor play on Sunday shouldn’t go unnoticed

The defense as a whole is what kept Chicago in the game, particularly the way they were able to shut down Derrick Henry which is no easy feat. It’s just discouraging that the offense couldn’t do their part. Look for Khalil to get back on track with a strong performance next week against the Vikings.
