5 College wide receivers the Chicago Bears should target in NFL Draft
By Joseph Herff
Amon-Ra St. Brown
Height: 6′ 1″ | Weight: 195 | Age: Jr.
Projected: Round 2
Amon-Ra St. Brown is a great all-around wide receiver to grab for the Chicago Bears. He possesses great hands with amazing athletic ability. One of his biggest strengths is his ability to create separation against man coverage. He does this with his great burst, quickness, and size to get away from defenders. These abilities also lead to great yards after catch ability.
On top of just his athletic ability, he is also a very physical receiver and shows a lot of toughness. He constantly crosses over the middle into traffic and isn’t afraid to catch a ball with multiple defenders on him. His size and physicality also make him a great deep threat for jump balls.
St. Brown would be the perfect replacement for Robinson or a great candidate to start alongside him. They are both possession receivers that catch almost everything in their radius. St. Brown may be the better playmaker while Robinson may be the better route runner, but the addition of St. Brown would make this Bears’ wide receiver core very hard to cover.
