Anthony Miller is  one of the most up and down players on the Bears

Dud #3: Anthony Miller

I think Anthony Miller is someone who certainly has a whole lot of talent but for whatever reason, he just can’t seem to put it all together. The Chicago Bears drafted Miller in 2018, another classic Ryan Pace trade up in the draft,

For the first two years of his career, I think he showed a lot of promise and got a little bit better each season. Coming into this season I thought this was a make or break year for the young receiver.

I think it’s safe to say that he is been very underwhelming in his third year. There was hope that Miller could be a legit slot weapon for the Bears but that doesn’t seem to be the case. He has had flashes throughout his career but it seems like he’ll take one step forward and two steps back, and Monday night was no different.

Miller was targeted seven times but only brought in two catches. one of them was for a nice 21 yard gain early on but that about all his production on offense. He did have a nice punt return later in the game but that’s not what the Bears drafted him for.

He also dropped what would have been the go-ahead touchdown late in the 4th quarter. You can definitely argue that the throw was a little high but that’s a catch that Miller has to make considering the ball still went through his hands.
