1. Nick Foles and Mitch Trubisky
It does not matter who you may want. The reality is that neither is likely the answer. Still, the Bears need to see a lot more out of whoever they decide. Fans will claim that behind this line that Trubisky is better off behind it for his scambles. However, Trubisky takes more sacks and is statistically much worse under pressure.
Foles is better under pressure and gets the ball out quickly. However, he cannot move and brings less attention to the run game. It is easier to rush and defend the run with Foles.
Foles is easily more accurate, even with a few missed balls, his completion rate over expectation is better than Trubisky. However, big plays came more frequently under Trubisky, even if there was a better chance the pass would be sailed incomplete.
The reality is that whoever starts will need to get a lot better in a bunch of areas. The Chicago Bears are in a tough spot with the quarterback position being what it is. Players like Miller, Leno, and Whitehair have not helped.
However, everything comes back to that position and without it, the Bears may be in for a long close to their 2020 season.
