3. Roquan Smith

This one can be tricky as it depends on your perception of Smith.  Being a former top ten pick now in his third NFL season it may not be a huge surprise that things have finally come together for Roquan Smith.

However, on the other side, after his first two seasons, he was destined to be good, but this was a huge leap. You may have known that Roquan Smith was going to be good and breakout this year. However, the way he is playing has likely exceeded your expectations.

It is going to be hard to leave Smith off of the All-Pro ballot. That is one heck of a jump. He Is elite against the pass and limits all yards after the catch. However, more impressive is his huge strides in run defense. Roquan Smith has become a complete player and one of the best on the entire roster. You may have hoped for that to happen, but seeing it come together so quickly has been a positive surprise.
