The bye week may  have come at the right time for these Chicago Bears

After a four-game losing streak, the bye week came at the right time for the Chicago Bears. It is a good chance for the team to regroup and get their act together for a potential stretch run. For some players, the bye week may have come at the perfect time.

It is a good chance to take a break, get healthy, and get your head straight before a key stretch run. Who are five players that may end up playing their best ball after the bye week?

5. Darnell Mooney

Darnell Mooney has already exceeded expectations, so a post-bye breakout would be huge. Still, Mooney has yet to top 100 yards in a game and is coming off of a career-low three yards against the Vikings. The bye week gives Mooney a chance to avoid hitting the rookie wall and take off to end his season.

In the first five games of the season, Mooney had 15 catches for 160 yards. In the following five he had 18 catches for 191 yards. He has taken a big step recently, and the last five weeks should be another 3 catches for 30 yards better than his last five. Mooney is on pace for over 560 receiving yards in his rookie season. With a burst late into the year, he can certainly ascend over 600 yards.

Look for Mooney to once again have a better five-game run than the previous five, and look for him to hit 100 yards in a game, and 600 yards in his rookie season with the Chicago Bears.
