The Chicago Bears need to nail the 2021 NFL Draft

The Chicago Bears are still scouting college prospects with the current front office despite many fans wanting them gone. This article will cover more players that some might know and some players that are under the radar. If you have not read my other draft content, check out the list of quarterbacks here and other players here.

I still won’t be covering Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields, Trey Lance, or Zach Wilson. The only reason those quarterbacks won’t be cover at all by me is that I would like to see Ryan Pace sit tight or trade down with his first overall draft pick. Those that wait can reap the benefits.

I have pounded the table on social media that Zach Wilson is a top-tier talent about a month ago. I said that Kyle Trask might be, but his limited mobility might allow him to fall far enough within reach for the Chicago Bears to draft. Trask is also a younger, more talented version of Nick Foles. With all of this quarterback talk, let’s talk about another college kid that might scare people away and talk about more running backs later on. I have shared my thoughts on David Montgomery in the past.

While Jordan Howard was a beast for the Bears, try not to confuse Montgomery, a third-round draft selection for a star running back. The kid is tough and has shiftiness to his game, but he is not dynamic. Tarik Cohen being absent should have proved why the Chicago Bears gave him his extension. We will finish up with a tight end and some defense in this article today.
