Corey Davis, Tennessee Titans

The former fifth-overall pick in 2016 struggled to carve himself a starring role for the Tennessee Titans early on. Corey Davis finally started getting his career going last season as the token third-year breakout season for a wide receiver only to take a back seat to star rookie A.J. Brown. Davis though has been extremely underrated for the Titans as the second option to Ryan Tannehill.

2018 was Davis’ best season as he caught 65 passes on 112 targets for 891 yards and four touchdowns while having Marcus Mariota throwing the ball. Once he got a competent quarterback in Tannehill, his catch percentage increased greatly from 58.0% in 2018 to 62.3% in 2019 and 72.4% in 2020.

Davis isn’t exactly popping out on the stat sheet as he is the second option in a run-first offense carried by Derrick Henry, but he has been extremely effective this season catching 42 passes for 619 yards and three touchdowns. Through nine games, he already has more receiving yards than he had in 15 games in 2019.

Davis isn’t a star wide receiver, but he clearly keeps improving year after year. He is a player the Bears can pay a decent amount of money on a two-year deal with heavy incentives making him their alpha wide receiver. He would be a cheaper option to move forward with as well as he will only be 26 years old next season.
