Will Fuller, Houston Texans
Will Fuller is arguably the prize this offseason in terms of free-agent wide receivers. After DeAndre Hopkins got traded to the Arizona Cardinals, Fuller has stepped up big time for the Texans taking over as their star wide receiver. While finally staying healthy, Fuller has looked like an elite wide receiver.
It would be mind-blowingly silly if the Texans let yet again another star wide receiver walk for virtually nothing, but it isn’t impossible. Fuller may want to test his market and go elsewhere after he popped off this season. Through 11 games, Fuller has caught 53 receptions for 879 yards (16.6 yards/reception) and eight touchdowns.
Fuller has not played a 16-game season throughout his career to this date with numerous injuries, but it is no question when healthy, Fuller is extremely hard to stop with his blazing 4.33 40-yard dash speed to pair with solid size (6′, 185 lbs).
Fuller would give the Bears two vertical threats with him and Mooney while also giving them their alpha wide receiver. They will have to pay up though if they want to snag the former Notre Dame star.
Side note: Fuller just received a PED suspension of six games, so that may drop his value a bit as well.
