Chicago Bears: 6 Dream replacements for Ryan Pace
What about the Chicago Bears turning to their rival and bringing in Eliot Wolf?
The Chicago Bears would be wise to try and pry Eliot Wolf away from the New England Patriots. Wolf was rumored to be a general manager candidate for the Cleveland Browns, but instead, he was passed over for the position by current general manager Andrew Berry. He is currently a consultant for the Patriots and offering him a general manager job should make it easy to convince him to leave New England.
Wolf spent most of his career with the Green Bay Packers as he worked with his father, former Packers general manager, Ron Wolf. Although Eliot Wolf is only 37 years old, he brings plenty of experience to the table. He spent 14 years working under his father in various roles with the Packers. Could you imagine him turning this team around and finally competing with the Packers year after year after year?
Wolf spent two seasons with the Cleveland Browns prior to the 2020 season. During that time, Wolf was the assistant general manager and was part of the drastic turnaround of one of the worst teams in the NFL.
