Another name the Chicago Bears can pursue is Jon-Eric Sullivan

If the Green Bay Packers connection to Eric Wolf does not pan out, the Chicago Bears could look to a different Packers connection in Jon-Eric Sullivan. Sullivan is currently the Packers’ Director of Player Personnel.

Sullivan is a former wide receiver and learned the game by following the teachings of his father Jerry Sullivan. Jerry Sullivan is one of the best wide receiver coaches to coach in the NFL. Sullivan started out by being a coach but realized he was better suited as a scout.

Sullivan was a scout for seven years before working his way up to Director of College Scouting. He was promoted again to his current position where he oversees all of the Packers’ college scouting. Just like Eliot Wolf, bringing in a general manager who has ties to the Packers would be a fantastic story should it work out successfully. At least we know they know how to find quarterbacks.
