5 teams who will pay Allen Robinson if Chicago Bears don’t
4. New York Jets
On one hand, Allen Robinson may not want to go from a franchise in disarray to another franchise that is struggling. Especially considering he has been in Jacksonville before Chicago. Beyond that, he may be done betting on the young talented quarterback in the draft like he did with Blake Bortles and Mitch Trubisky.
Still, it is fair to note that Trevor Lawrence is a much safer prospect than Bortles or Trubisky. With that in mind, Robinson may want to start his legacy with a quarterback who is as hyped as Lawrence.
The Jets obviously have the money. They are going to be cleaning house this offseason and building things back up. Robinson could see a chance to cash in big time, and be the go-to guy for a franchise quarterback for years to come.
The Jets may lose Breshard Perriman to free agency. They would likely rather pay Robinson than Perriman anyway. Beyond that, like Parker, Denzel Mims is a big, downfield target who make plays in the air. He is the perfect outside complement to Allen Robinson. If Robinson can stand another questionable roster, he is the perfect fit with the Jets.
