5 teams who will pay Allen Robinson if Chicago Bears don’t
3. New York Giants
You could argue that the Giants are in the same, if not a worse spot than the Jets. Both teams are struggling, and while Lawrence feels safe, Daniel Jones has as many questions as Trubisky or Bortles. Would Robinson want to risk going to a third nightmare quarterback situation? If the money is right, it is possible.
To start, Jons has progressed in year two, and the Giants may make the playoffs. Perhaps adding Robinson into the mix would put Jones over the top. Robinson already hyped up Darius Slayton, perhaps the two are friends and would like to play together? Perhaps Slayton is a great compliment as a deep threat?
Beyond that is the money situation. The Giants have it and can spend it. They may have a new GM who is ready to take a leap and see what he has in Daniel Jones.
It is possible that the Giants outbid every other team on this list, and blow Robinson away with a big-time offer. Golden Tate was suspended and is likely going to be let go. Sterling Shephard in the slot with Darius Slayton and Allen Robinson on the outside can be fearful.
