5 teams who will pay Allen Robinson if Chicago Bears don’t
1. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts have been hoarding money for years under Chris Ballard. Now that they are in an offseason where no teams have cap space, and they do, they have a true advantage over their competition.
Phil Rivers may be back, but the Colts realized their true issue this year. They are short on playmakers. Paris Campbell got hurt. T.Y. Hilton got old, and Michael Pittman is slowly becoming an NFL wideout. This has left the Colts with a lot of Marcus Johnson and Zach Pascal this season.
Turning Pascal targets into Robinson targets would be a huge boost to the offense. Hilton is aging and maybe let go as he is a free agent this offseason. The Colts could keep the legacy of Hilton and hope he bounces back. Or, they could make a shrewd business move and cut ties then sign a younger option.
The Colts have money, they have a need, and they have a better offense than the Bears. If any team were to sweep Robinson away, it is going to be the Colts.
