The Chicago Bears’ season could go three ways
A lot is riding on the end of this 2020 season for many players and staff on the Chicago Bears. Some people are fighting for their jobs while some are fighting to get out of here. How the season ends can determine what happens to these people.
For starters, Mitchell Trubisky is one who could change the narrative at the end of this season. Trubisky is essentially on his way out, but if he balls out, he could potentially earn himself a cheap deal to come back next season. It is highly unlikely, but anything can happen.
Matt Nagy seems to also be fighting for his job. After his amazing 12-4 season in his first year in Chicago, he has been 13-14 since with the Bears currently on a five-game losing streak. How he finishes out this season could determine where he is coaching next season.
The other big one is Ryan Pace. Pace seems to be on the hot seat as well as his job at building the offense has not done well at all. Missing on Trubisky hasn’t helped at all and neither has the hiring of Nagy, so he may get the can if it all goes wrong.
There are plenty of other players as well that their futures in Chicago can be determined by how the season plays out. So, how can this season play out, and what are the results of it?
