Chicago Bears: It is time to clean house at Halas Hall

Pace needs to see the door as well
Unfortunately for Ryan Pace, he needs to be let go as well. He’s the one who built this team and the staff along with Nagy. Nagy is sinking the ship and sadly Pace needs to go with him.
Pace has done an okay job building the team. The offense seems to be okay enough to be a playoff-caliber team with this loaded defense. Sadly, Pace brought in the wrong guys to take the Bears to the playoffs. He had the right guy in Vic Fangio, but Fangio got a head coaching job elsewhere.
Pace wasn’t perfect either as he has plenty of horrible contracts (Robert Quinn, Charles Leno, and Buster Skrine). He additionally failed in the draft pretty bad as well reaching for Trubisky and drafting guys like Adam Shaheen and Kevin White early in drafts.
Pace looked to rebuild this defense and he truly did that. He seemed to be making the right pieces on this team before failing on the offensive side of the ball. Sadly, you can’t have these kinds of misses and that kind of record as a general manager and keep your job, so he will be out of the job likely at the end of the season anyway.
