Sunday’s loss resulted in former Chicago Bears tweeting out their frustrations
The Chicago Bears are not trending on Twitter these days due to their spectacular efforts on Soldier Field. Nope. Instead, you might find the team just lost its sixth-consecutive game for the first time since 2002. To make matters even worse, the Bears’ loss in Week 13 came to the Detroit Lions and now the two NFC North foes share the worst record in the division at 5-7.
There is certainly little to hang your hat on as a Bears fan right now. The offense is well below average and the defense once known as the “Monsters of the Midway” is getting gashed by opposing quarterbacks without some of their top options, and that’s not mentioning the mental errors and missed tackles being seen on a weekly basis.
Many fans and former players point their fingers at the front office. If Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy weren’t already on the hot seat then some might notice griddle marks on the seats of their trousers next week against the Houston Texans. The thousands of Bears Twitter GM’s certainly voiced their frustrations with the team on Sunday.
Perhaps, the most alarming ones came from several former Bears players and one current player on injured reserve. Twitter has certainly become the public diary for many fans, but it’s never a good sign when former Pro Bowlers have grown tired with the current front office. Let’s take a look at what you might have missed while covering your eyes on Sunday.
