Round 3, Pick No. 77

With the Bears going Leatherwood in Round 2, it may seem redundant to go back-to-back offensive tackles, but with the Bears’ current issue at offensive tackle, it may be the best way to fix the position. Since both Leno and Bobby Massie should be cut next season, these two could be the starting tackles next season with a veteran brought in cheaply for competition.’

Spencer Brown is a product of the FCS program in Northern Iowa. Although Northern Iowa isn’t as known as North Dakota State, the powerhouse of the FCS, they are a powerful school in the same conference. They have had guys succeed at the next level like David Johnson.

Brown is a special product as he is a monster of a human. Brown stands at 6′ 9″, weighs over 320 pounds, and has 35-inch arms. On top of this, he can move like a tight end. He set his school record for bench press benching 500 pounds. He puts all of his incredible traits on tape many times.

This kind of prospect does not come around often. After coming in at the same height but weighing 215 pounds, Brown put on the size to be one of the most athletic offensive tackles in the NFL. He is a prospect worth taking a shot on.
