Corey Davis, Wide Receiver

With Robinson likely gone, the Bears can replace him with another ‘X’ wide receiver that has recently broken out this season for the Tennessee Titans. Corey Davis struggled early on in the NFL, but this season, he has dominated while playing alongside A.J. Brown.

The former fifth overall pick just had the best game of his career catching 11 of 12 targets for 182 yards and a touchdown. This season, he in total has caught 53 passes for 801 yards and four touchdowns. He is on pace to reach over 1,000 yards for the first time in his career.

Davis is a cheap option for ‘X’ wide receiver that would allow the Bears to save themselves some money. According to Spotrac, Robinson is due for a hefty three-year, $60 million contract that frankly, the Bears just can’t afford. They have other important needs.

Davis, on the other hand, is expected by Spotrac to get himself a cheap contract. He is expected to earn himself a four-year, $31 million contract ($7.75 million average).
