Which young Chicago Bears players could have breakout years next season?

Barring some late-season miracle, it looks like the Chicago Bears will not make the playoffs. There will be a lot to look back on this season, and a lot to learn from. Next year’s team could look a lot different with questions surrounding the coaching, front office, and key positions. Who will be the Bears quarterback next year? Will they trade some veteran stars? Who is going to be the coach come next year? All these questions will have to be answered in the offseason.

Nonetheless, there have been some awesome campaigns from some of the younger players on this team. The Bears might have found some players that could be key pieces going forward, even if they were not expected to have such an impact right away.

With the possibility of trading or cutting some key veterans on this team, we could be seeing a lot of these young studs next season and in the coming years. As much as this year has been almost unbearable, there have been some silver linings with the success of young players like Darnell Mooney, Jaylon Johnson, and even Sam Mustipher.

Obviously, some of these players might regress or not show much improvement. Who knows, their success this year might have been a fluke. Still, there is a lot to work with in terms of young talent on this team. Although the stars of the Bears might be older, there is a plethora of young talent that, if developed and used the right way, could make a huge impact in the coming years.

The future of the coaching staff and front office is foggy, and turnover in those areas could bring about a reevaluation of the young talent on this team. Whoever is at the helm is sure to see a possible jump for some of the key young players on this team next season as well as some potential for huge breakout seasons.
