Chicago Bears: Counting down the top-five plays heading into Week 14

Allen Robinson turns diving catch into a touchdown grab
The Chicago Bears front office could have as many Allen Robinson replays they wanted if Ryan Pace got off his high horse and extended the star-studded wide receiver, but instead, he’d rather prove he’s not the right man for the job. I understand the argument of not extending Robinson if this team is planning to start a rebuilding phase, but until that news is announced I do not care.
Robinson is one of the best in the business and has done it for years with mediocre quarterbacks like Blake Bortles in Jacksonville and now with what’s going on in Chicago — this is all public information.

The fact that Robinson willingly signed in Chicago over Green Bay during the 2018 offseason makes a Bears writer question where the front office’s loyalty truly lies. I hope he goes to the Packers in the offseason and beats the brakes off this team just to prove how dumb we are if we let him walk.
With that said, Robinson torches Marshon Lattimore on this play and lays out for an impressive diving catch. It’s amazing actually when you consider that he pinned the football on his helmet to keep it from touching the ground in a very Super Bowl XVLII, David Tyree-esk fashion. Just sign this man already so we can stop writing about it — moving on to the final two spots.
