OT. Virginia Tech. 847. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. ChristianDarrisaw. 77. player

The Chicago Bears select an offensive tackle as opposed to a quarterback. I know this will make some of you happy and some of you very upset. The thing is, by trading back, it gives the Bears more opportunities to select high-quality players. This is important for a team with so many holes in it.

Christian Darrisaw is a rising name on many draft boards. He is a monster of a man as he stands 6’5″ and weighs 314 pounds. Darrisaw is very athletic and should slot in as the Chicago Bears starting left tackle right away. He has been starting on Virginia Tech’s left side since 2018 and comes with strong experience.

Darrisaw at 26th overall would be a steal in my opinion. He has room for growth, but he is also naturally athletic and has great length. His athleticism also allows him to move well for a big man. The Chicago Bears are going to need to move on from either Charles Leno, Bobby Massie or honestly my hope is they move on from both. Darrisaw would take the left side immediately, even if Leno is not cut.
