The Chicago Bears trade Khalil Mack to the Seattle Seahawks for Tyler Lockett.

Moving forward with these Chicago Bears trades, I have to credit my good friend Trevor Carson for helping me come up with the rest of this list.

If the Seattle Seahawks want to get back to the Super Bowl, then they might consider a trade for Khalil Mack. The Legion of Boom hasn’t been around for years and a mixture of Bobby Wagner, Jamal Adams and Mack could revive that for the 12th man. I included Tyler Lockett in this trade for the Bears side because if Allen Robinson walks in free agency then Lockett could step right in as the teams No. 1 receiver.

The Seahawks have a new top receiver in town and his name is D.K. Metcalf. Lockett has had his boom games this season, but Russell Wilson has proven he can spread the ball around. Seattle is set to lose linebackers K.J. Wright, Bruce Irvin, and defensive end Benson Mayowa to free agency. They’ll have a need at the pass rusher position and Mack could certainly fit that bill. It’s safe to assume Pete Carroll and defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. will consider all options during the offseason to get the defense back on track.

Chicago would acquire Lockett’s $13 million dead cap for the 2021 season. The 28-year-old would provide elite speed and route-running skills for whoever the Bears quarterback is next season. The downside of this trade for the Bears is that Seattle traded its 2021 first-round pick to the New York Jets in the Jamal Adams deal. Chicago could try for another player in this trade alongside other draft capital.
