The Chicago Bears should wish for an Arizona Cardinals loss

As mentioned above, the final spot of the NFC playoff picture is down to the wire. If the Bears beat the Vikings this upcoming Sunday, the only team that would need to lose is the Cardinals, assuming the Bears can finish 3-0.

The Cardinals schedule is definitely one that contains a potential loss on it. The team first squares off against the Philadelphia Eagles, who look like a whole new team with rookie quarterback Jalen Hurts. They then face off against a San Francisco 49ers team who is banged up but still fighting hard. They end the season with a divisional game versus the Los Angeles Rams.

It’s not totally unrealistic for the Cardinals to drop a game or two here, and make the final playoff spot of the NFC wide open for the Bears. The Bears need to get it done on their end first, but there’s nothing wrong with a little wishful thinking here as well.
