Chicago Bears: Madden 21 simulation for Week 15 versus Vikings
What does Madden 21 predict for Week 15 matchup between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings?
In the wise words of Cordarrelle Patterson, “How ’bout them Bears!” The Chicago Bears finally snapped their six-game losing streak after blowing out the Houston Texans at home. This week they travel to Minnesota to take on the Vikings in what seems to be a must-win game for the Bears at this point.
We simulated the game on Madden 21 to predict a possible outcome. Last week, the simulation was very wrong, as it had the Bears falling to the Texans. Let’s hope the simulation was right this week as it predicted the Bears to win by a score of 34-20. This is a game both teams need to win in order to stay in the playoff picture, so here’s hoping that the Bears have as good of a game Sunday that Madden has predicted. Here are some key stats from the game:
Chicago Bears:
- Mitchell Trubisky – 29/40 completions, 312 yards, two touchdowns, five carries, 32 yards
- David Montgomery – 17 carries, 92 yards, two touchdowns, six receptions, 22 yards
- Allen Robinson – 11 catches, 120 yards, one touchdown
- Cole Kmet – six catches, 63 yards, one touchdown
- Darnell Mooney – four catches, 55 yards
- Roquan Smith – eight tackles, one sack
- Danny Trevathan – 13 tackles, one interception
- Khalil Mack – five tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss
- Akiem Hicks – three tackles, one sack, two tackles for loss
- Tashaun Gipson – nine tackles, one tackle for loss
Minnesota Vikings:
- Kirk Cousins – 24/40 completions, 252 yards, two touchdowns
- Dalvin Cook – 20 carries, 89 yards, three catches, 40 yards
- Justin Jefferson – six catches, 80 yards, one touchdown
- Adam Thielen – seven catches, 56 yards, one touchdown
- Chad Bebe – four catches, 71 yards
- Eric Kendricks – twelve tackles, one tackle for loss
- Harrison Smith – nine tackles, one tackle for loss
- Mike Hughes – six tackles, one sack
The Bears had another balanced effort in this simulation. The offense was very good, with Mitchell Trubisky, David Montgomery, Allen Robinson, and Cole Kmet all enjoying great games. The defense did enough to hold Dalvin Cook and company to only 20 points.
If the Bears can enjoy the same defense in the real game as it did when these teams played earlier in the season, I could easily see the Bears winning. Last game against the Vikings saw a great defensive effort, but it was overshadowed by not even 150 yards of offense. Let’s hope Madden is right and Mitchell Trubisky stays perfect against the Vikings for the third straight season.
The Vikings always provide a great battle in their games against the Bears, but Chicago has had their number the last few seasons. Let’s hope Madden 21 was right this week and the Bears get the win in Minnesota.
