What does Madden 21 predict for Week 16 matchup between the Chicago Bears and  Jacksonville Jaguars?

After watching the Chicago Bears win last week against the Vikings, it feels like there is a real shot for them to get into the playoffs. Their next stop is Jacksonville to take on a subpar, yet feisty Jaguars team. The main thing for the Bears is to not take the Jaguars record for granted, as they have many players who are playing for contracts that can make the Bears pay if they do not play with full effort. The Bears need to stick to their gameplan and hopefully, the defense will look better.

The Chicago Bears played a great football game last week in Minnesota keeping their playoff hopes alive. The Madden 21 simulation was correct in predicting a Bears win in Week 15, so let’s hope they were right again this week, as the simulation resulted in a 36-21 win for the Bears. The team had another great game in the simulation and let’s hope this is the case on Sunday as well. Here are some key stats for the game:

Chicago Bears:

Jacksonville Jaguars

  • Mike Glennon – 21/34 completions, 192 yards, one touchdown, two interceptions
  • James Robinson – 21 carries, 108 yards, two touchdowns, three catches, 22 yards
  • D.J. Chark – five catches, 81 yards, one touchdown
  • Keelan Cole – four catches, 62 yards
  • Myles Jack – 12 tackles, one tackle for loss
  • Joe Schobert – nine tackles, one sack
  • Josh Allen – seven tackles, one sack
  • Jarrod Wilson – five tackles, two tackles for loss

The Bears fired on all cylinders in this simulation. It seems Madden 21 likes the Bears a lot, as the offense has been a lot better in simulation than it has in real life this year. Still, this is what the Bears offense should do considering they are playing one of the worst defenses in the league. In the simulation, Mitchell Trubisky, David Montgomery, and Cole Kmet all enjoyed great games. This has been the recipe for success recently for the Bears so they should look to continue this.

Defensively, this needs to be a game that sparks the team. The simulation suggests the Bears should be able to take the ball away when the Jags are playing Mike Glennon, even though it is his revenge game. The Bears defense has not been the same the last few weeks, so this is the perfect game to get back into form in time for the Green Bay Packers and hopefully the playoffs.

Next. Chicago Bears: Roquan Smith proving to be an All-Pro. dark

The Bears will look to continue their quest for a playoff berth against the Jaguars, and Madden 21 seems to see the Bears coming away with a convincing win. Let’s see how this one plays out on Sunday.
