Chicago Bears: Three studs from Week 16 win over the Jaguars
By Cody Young
Robinson was great for the Bears on Sunday
Stud No. 2: Allen Robinson
Allen Robinson can easily be on this list every single week. He’s been the best and most consistent player for Chicago all season. Sunday afternoon was just another great game to add to his resume. Possibly driving up his offseason asking price even more.
Robinson caught 10 of his 13 targets for over 100 yards. Mitch Trubisky loves to look in Robinson’s direction and it was no different against the Jaguars. Robinson had a fantastic game against his former team and looks to finish up strong against the Packers.
Robinson will have his work cut out for him next week as he will be lined up against arguably the league’s best corner this season, in Jaire Alexander. If the Bears want to make the playoffs and then go on a run, Robinson will have to be a big part of the Chicago Bears’ success.
Robinson is one of the best receivers in the entire NFL and his time in Chicago may be coming to an end very soon. With all of the drama and back and forth between the two parties, the Bears have yet to come to an agreement with the star receiver. At this point, Robinson may very well be out of the Bear price range this upcoming offseason.
