1. Invest in the Line

This needs to be the Chicago Bears focus on 2021. Whatever happens with Mitch Trubisky and the defense, the offensive line needs to be bolstered. This has been something we have written about for far too long without any resolution.

The Bears gambled on Kyle Long and lost, and they saw James Daniels expose their depth the following year. While their issues have been at guard, pleasant surprises may push that need down.

However, the Bears need to make tackle the priority of the year. Charles Leno is fading faster than ever before, and 2020 marked the second year that Bobby Massie missed significant time with injury.

The Bears must move on from Massie, and keep the leash short for Leno. They also need to invest In depth. Stop assuming that great healthy will happen in this violent sport. If they can invest in the line, it will make evaluating the quarterback easier, and put them in position to be better in the future regardless of the QB. If the Chicago Bears want a happy 2021, they will address the offensive line.
