The Chicago Bears need these players to step up
Somehow, someway, the Chicago Bears made the playoffs. With this up-and-down season, the Bears snuck into the playoffs as the newly-introduced seventh seed edging out the Arizona Cardinals who were also 8-8.
Now, the Bears have their eyes set on the New Orleans Saints who are the second seed of the NFC. If they somehow manage to get through this experienced playoff team, they will then face the Green Bay Packers once again. But first, let’s worry about getting past New Orleans.
The Bears played the Saints earlier in the season with Nick Foles starting at quarterback. The Bears went to overtime falling to the Saints 26-23. It is no question this Bears’ offense is much improved since then, but the defense has likely regressed as they shut the Saints’ offense down relatively well.
The Saints won’t be easy to stop, but it is doable. The Bears have the right pieces in place to win this game for the playoffs if they are all used to their strengths.
With the playoffs now on, the Bears will need everyone to come together if they want a shot at even winning one game. If the Bears got their first half of the season defense and got their second half of the season offense, they could put it all together. Who are the main culprits for this though?
