1. Mitch Trubisky

This one is rather obvious. Mitch Trubisky is a free agent and has a lot on the line come Sunday. He has played better in the last six weeks, but at the same time has not been faced with a talented defense. On Sunday, he gets a top-ranked Saints defense, which is the type of group he struggles against.

If Trubisky can go on the road, against a top ten defense and keep his team in the game, he is going to silence a lot of doubters. If he does not, there are going to be a lot of questions.

This was needed. Having him go into the offseason with 6 good starts but 3 losses and no good defenses played would have had a lot of uncertainty.

Next. 3 trade packages for DeShaun Watson. dark

Now, a good performance can show you growth, and a bad one tells you that this is the same old Trubisky. No matter what, the Chicago Bears do benefit greatly from learning what they have in Mitch Trubisky.
