The Chicago Bears must bring back Allen Robinson in 2021
The former Jacksonville Jaguar has been a bright spot on this sporadic offense ever since he joined the team in 2018. His ability to extend plays and consistently produce has made his time in Chicago worth every penny. Even with all of that said, it seems like any signs of an extension have been grounded for some time.
Allen Robinson on entering the offseason without a contract: "I personally feel like we had an opportunity to get something done over the past 365 days."

Of course, Robinson could be brought back on a franchise tag. This would give the Bears a chance to figure out their long-term solution at quarterback, while they continue to negotiate a deal with Robinson. When asked by Patrick Finley of the Sun-Times what he would think of being tagged, he simply said, “I plead the fifth”.
Finley followed that up with this tweet:
To clarify: every player alive would rather get a long-term deal than get franchise tagged. And Robinson has a "great fondness" for the city and the organization. https://t.co/SJyiSh8CmE

The production of Robinson can’t be denied. Over his past two seasons, he had a total of 200 catches for 2,397 yards and 13 total touchdowns. He must be regarded as a top priority this offseason.
