Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons got rid of both their head coach and general manager this season and in doing so, they brought in a great head coach candidate in Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. Smith ran a great offense in Tennessee turning around Ryan Tannehill’s career and he could do the exact same with Trubisky.

Yes, the Falcons still have Matt Ryan, but they could at the very least sign Trubisky to back up and learn under the aging quarterback learning the new system. Smith could likely run a similar system in Atlanta, which is a run-first offense with plenty of play-action, but it’s hard to see that with the Falcons’ current weapons.

They additionally could trade away Ryan and Julio Jones to begin the rebuild in that case would be perfect for Trubisky. He could run essentially the Titans’ offense which is perfect for his strengths. Additionally, Trubisky’s old quarterback coach and passing game coordinator since he came to Chicago, Dave Ragone, is the front-runner to be the offensive coordinator giving him some familiarity.
