Trade No. 2: Chicago Bears watch as a monumental quarterback swap happens

The Deshaun Watson saga is one that will dominate all NFL offseason until a concrete answer is given. By now, most have heard that Watson seems to want out of Houston and there are plenty of intriguing landing spots for the Texans quarterback.

One of the top rumored destinations is for Watson to head to the Miami Dolphins in a package containing Tua Tagovailoa along with draft capital. While the odds are in Miami’s favor over many other teams, there’s one other intriguing destination for Watson.

The Minnesota Vikings could put together a competitive package for Watson as well. If Houston deals Watson, they would probably prefer to get another starting quarterback in the deal rather than starting over with a rookie — that is, unless they could get one of the top three quarterbacks in this year’s draft. But, in this instance, the Vikings could put together an interesting trade.

Whatever the Vikings traded for Watson would be worth it at this point, because seeing him under center with Dalvin Cook in the backfield would be downright frightening.

Watson would have two top receivers to throw the ball too, as well, in Adam Thielen and Justin Jefferson. That offense would be as scary as it gets in today’s NFL, and the Vikings would then simply focus on revamping the defense to make a run at a Super Bowl.
