The Chicago Bears could land Deshaun Watson by trading Kyle Fuller
There are also two ways trading Kyle Fuller could help the Bears acquire Deshaun Watson. They could include Fuller along with draft picks in a trade for Watson as the Texans are in desperate need of a quality cornerback.
The other possibility is if the Bears do make the complicated trade with the Niners, they would have more ammunition to make a trade for Watson. However, if Watson is traded, I believe that he will most likely go to a team with a top-five, or at the very least top ten draft pick. Regardless, the Bears should put their best foot forward in trying to trade for him and there are a number of ways that trading Fuller could expedite the Bears acquiring Deshaun Watson.
On the subject of trading for Watson here is one more trade possibility that many should find at the very least amusing. The rumor mill has it that Watson forcing a trade will lead to the top head coach candidates turning down any offers from the Texans. If in fact, the Texans find themselves in a bind to find a really good head coach here is an idea.
Matt Nagy has proven himself to be one of the best head coaches in the NFL at creating a very positive, tight-knit team chemistry. This is not in any way admitting he is a good play-caller.
Apparently, the Texans’ Executive Vice President of Football Operations, Jack Easterby has created quite the toxic atmosphere among their players. This is rumored to be one of the big reasons Watson wants to leave Houston. How about the Bears offer Matt Nagy, Kyle Fuller and two first-round picks for Deshaun Watson and a mid-round pick or two. If Bears ownership really wants to quickly win back their currently angry fan base, this highly unlikely trade should get the job done.
