With the NFL Draft only months away, the Chicago Bears need to address plenty of key positions in this draft. The Bears need to add plenty of players to improve on both sides of the ball. This season showed that not only the offense is questionable, but the defense was as well down the stretch.

In my opinion, with the players I expect the Bears to re-sign and cut, the biggest needs for the Bears are as follows with some explanation to each.

The Chicago Bears need to target these top players in the 2021 NFL Draft

Offensive Tackle

With the potential of Charles Leno and Bobby Massie getting cut this offseason, they need to address offensive tackle. Even if they only cut one of them, they should draft a blue-chip offensive tackle prospect with Leno aging (assuming the Bears at least cut Massie).

Offensive Tackle Rankings

  1. Penei Sewell, Oregon
  2. Christian Darrisaw, Virginia Tech
  3. Rashawn Slater, Northwestern
  4. Samuel Cosmi, Texas
  5. Alex Leatherwood, Alabama
  6. Jalen Mayfield, Michigan
  7. Liam Eichenberg, Notre Dame
  8. Dillon Radunz, North Dakota State
  9. Walker Little, Stanford
  10. Teven Jenkins, Oklahoma State

Player to Highlight: Dillon Radunz, North Dakota State

Randunz is my favorite second-round sleeper in this NFL Draft. As an FCS prospect, he is being severely underrated as a tackle in this loaded OT draft class. He is a nasty run-blocker with great overall athleticism and balance. He is a starting-quality tackle with plenty of experience protecting fellow Bison star Trey Lance last season and NFL quarterback Easton Stick the two years prior.
