The Chicago Bears have a lot of question marks going into this offseason in regards to many key positions. They have a huge free agent in Allen Robinson, as well as some other key players such as Cordarrelle Patterson, Tashaun Gipson, and Mitchell Trubisky. Although it would be great to have most of these guys back next year, the Bears are short on cap situation. This free agent prediction article is based on the Bears losing Allen Robinson and Kyle Fuller, as well as some other key positions. All contract predictions are from Spotrac.

Chicago Bears should sign: Corey Davis, WR – three years, $27 million

There is a chance the Bears do not bring back Allen Robinson, Anthony Miller, and Javon Wims for next year. If that happens the Bears will need to bring in a couple of receivers to play with Darnell Mooney. As good as Mooney was, he is not ready to be a number one receiver.

Bringing in Corey Davis on a deal similar to this would be a great value, especially since he is coming off of a career year, posting 65 catches for 984 yards and five touchdowns. He is also still very young at only 26. It would also be a sort of homecoming for Davis, who is from the Chicago area.

Obviously, Davis is no Allen Robinson, but him, Mooney, and either a drafted wide receiver or Riley Ridley as the third receiver would be a decent enough trio if the Bears were to lose their depth from this year.

The Bears seem like they want to stay competitive, and they will need playmakers at the receiver position. Davis is not a household name as a star wideout, but he has plenty of potential and has improved the last couple of years. He would be a very solid consolation prize for losing Robinson and company.
