The Chicago Bears must target offensive tackle in the first round

The only way I am looking at a quarterback in the first round is if Mac Jones drops and the Chicago Bears can trade back. Getting Jones at the back half of the first round while acquiring another pick is something I can wrap my head around. I am also okay with trading up for Justin Fields should he drop far enough. All of this said, offensive tackle seems like the most logical choice in the first round and Christian Darrisaw is my top target.

The hope here is that Darrisaw drops to 20. Some mock drafts have him falling that far, however, others have him going between 10 and 15. As I said, Darrisaw is my dream target with the 20th pick, but there are other offensive tackles worth taking here. I like Darrisaw almost as equally as I do top offensive tackle prospect Penei Sewell.

If Darrisaw is not available, I would turn my attention to Rashawn Slater followed by Samuel Cosmi. These would be my top choices, but honestly, this draft class has plenty of offensive line talent — guys worth taking in the first round.
