Matt Ryan would look good playing for the Chicago Bears

Contract situation: 3 years left Ι $39.7 million AAV

A quarterback that would look great in orange and blue is Matt Ryan. The problem is, acquiring Ryan will not come cheap. He comes with a huge contract and would likely take some high-end draft capital to trade for him too.

Ryan is consistently good, but many fear that he is starting to fall off a bit as he gets older. Funny how people think this when Ryan has thrown for over 4,000 yards in every season over the last 10 years. He has also been relatively healthy over the years too.

This past season, Ryan finished with 4,581 yards, 26 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The yards are great, but he needs more touchdowns to go along with them. His best season was in 2016 when he threw for just shy of 5,000 yards, 38 touchdowns and only seven interceptions. This was also the year that the Falcons went to the Super Bowl and choked.

If Ryan was able to be had for cheaper, then I would be on board here, but I think the Falcons struggle to move him because of his contract and age. The only team I think might be crazy enough to do it is San Francisco since Kyle Shanahan was the Falcons offensive coordinator in 2016 when Ryan had his best season.

Predicted landing spot: Atlanta Falcons or San Francisco 49ers
