Rumors suggest the Chicago Bears send two offensive players for Carson Wentz

Over the weekend, there were even more rumors regarding what type of players, if any, the Eagles would need in return for Wentz. One reporter out of NBCS Philadelphia suggested that she was hearing the name Tarik Cohen involved in trade talks.

After that tweet surfaced, Cohen himself came out and said that he talked to both Matt Nagy and Ryan Pace and he’s not going anywhere. But, everyone knows how quickly that can change. The NFL is a business, first. If Philadelphia wanted Cohen back in a deal, this is what it could look like.

Yet again, the Bears avoid giving up a first. The Eagles, though, get a bit higher draft compensation as this would be an example of a deal offered if other teams were still involved.

Miles Sanders is a great starter, but adding in a dynamic playmaker like Cohen could be attractive to an offense that hasn’t had a real one-two punch for a while. Instead, Philadelphia has used a plethora of running backs over the last few years.

The Bears, meanwhile, get Wentz and Wentz only. They give up a second, third, Cohen and Foles. It’s a bit more of a haul for the Eagles, but again, the Bears hang onto their first-round picks — and that’s what’s most important.
