Chicago Bears free-agent wide receiver target: Kenny Golladay

Now, the Bears may not franchise tag Robinson because they may not think he’s worth the money. If that’s the case, the Bears should look to their division rivals’ star wide receiver Kenny Golladay who is testing free agency this offseason as well.

Despite not seeing much action as a rookie, Golladay instantly became Matt Stafford’s favorite target in his second season. Starting in 13 games, Golladay caught 70 passes for 1,063 yards and five touchdowns for a solid second season in the NFL. He had a stellar third season though in which he caught 65 passes for 1,190 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Golladay didn’t play much in 2020 due to lingering injuries, but he still was on pace for over 1,000 receiving yards and about seven touchdowns. At the age of only 27 as well, Golladay has his best years ahead of him and could benefit from a change of scenery. That change of scenery could be his hometown team of the Chicago Bears.
