Chicago Bears free-agent wide receiver target: Corey Davis

This is another great option to replace Robinson if he were to leave. Corey Davis was a high-capital draft pick back in 2017, but never really lived up to the hype that was surrounding him. Once he finally got competent quarterback play from Ryan Tannehill though, he looked extremely good.

Davis has yet to break 1,000 yards in the NFL, so that should allow the Bears to potentially buy him on a discount. Last season, Davis had his best season yet as he caught 65 passes for 984 yards and five touchdowns. He did this while playing alongside A.J. Brown making it hard to get a lot of targets in a run-first offense.

Davis showed this season that he deserves to be a number one wide receiver. He may not be an elite one like Robinson or as good as Golladay, but he is a cheap replacement option that would give the Bears’ a big-bodied possession wide receiver to pair with Mooney’s speed.
