The Chicago Bears could look much different at wide receiver going into the 2021 season.

A lot of that depends upon what happens with impending free agent Allen Robinson. Last fall, the Bears and Robinson were reportedly in talks regarding an extension. Yet, neither side was able to agree on the correct numbers.

So, in just a matter of weeks, the Bears could be looking at a world that doesn’t involve Robinson. If that happens, the team will need a new no. 1 wideout.

Robinson has meant a whole lot to this offense over the past three seasons, and replacing him would be no easy task.

In addition to Robinson potentially finding a new team, the Bears may also cut ties with Anthony Miller. There were reports that the front office were not pleased with his ejection last year, and it appears they’re starting to see what many fans have seen for a little while now.

Miller’s attitude is a problem, whether everyone sees it or not. In addition, the drops and mental errors have been on display for a couple of seasons now.

If there’s a world where the Bears are missing both Robinson and Miller going into 2021, they’re going to need to address the position in a big way. Now, they could opt to spend a higher pick on a receiver in the draft. But, free agency also boasts some intriguing names.

If Ryan Pace opted for free agency, he’d find some capable wide receivers to pair with Darnell Mooney. However, he would need to avoid a few names as well. The following are receivers the Bears must avoid at all costs when free agency opens up.
