How will the Chicago Bears “tackle” the offensive line

There are a lot of questions surrounding this offensive line. Both James Daniels and Cody Whitehair are safe because they are very talented and guaranteed starters. After them though, everybody’s job is up in the air.

First, how do the Bears’ view Sam Mustipher? He proved to be serviceable in his limited time starting for the Bears and showed to be a great leader at the center position. The Bears may want an upgrade though for a seasoned-veteran and could just view Mustipher as a backup.

Both of the offensive tackles are getting a nice payday this offseason and could be cut candidates. Could the Bears move on from both and address it via free agency and the draft? They could just cut Bobby Massie and keep Charles Leno while drafting a tackle. There are many ways they can address this position, but it shouldn’t be both Leno and Massie starting next season.

Finally, maybe the Bears want to try Daniels back at center again. He is truly built for that position given his size and build, but he has done well at guard. Maybe a full offseason at center with a great offensive line coach in Juan Castillo can help him become a full-time center.
